About Mary
Mary Herrera is the firm's paralegal and really, so much more. To say that Mary is invaluable, is the understatement of the century!

Mary has worked alongside Mr. Elizondo since the firm’s inception in June of 2017. Prior to helping Mr. Elizondo establish the firm, Mary spent almost four decades working in the Texas legal industry. She has worked in the Texas state court system as an office manager, administrator, and court clerk, as well as a paralegal and office manager for other private attorneys in Texas. She brings not only her vast legal experience, but her compassion, to the firm for the benefit of its clients.
Mary also uniquely understands the challenges and opportunities that immigration to the United States bring as she, herself, immigrated from Mexico as a teenager. Following her immigration, Mary graduated high school, got married, and lived the “American Dream” in Texas. Mary obtained a paralegal diploma from Southwest School of Court Reporters in 1991. She also graduated from San Antonio College with an associate degree in Criminal Justice in 1996.
When not at the office, Mary enjoys spending time with her husband, her two daughters, and her son. She also enjoys spoiling her eight grandchildren and her one great grandchild.
